Shopping Concept Stores in Paris

One of my first shopping stops in Paris is Colette on rue St-Honore.  It is the original Parisian concept store and still continues to give off an energetic vibe of coolness and inspiration. Packed with both Parisians and tourists, you will find a truly unique selection of fashion, accessories, street wear, cosmetics and books. We couldn’t help but notice that Colette was selling Roberta’s (of Brooklyn) cookbook!  Bob picked up some great reading glasses that I am sure will be a bit radical for the office.  Robbie found a photography book, Caoroline De Maigret wears Chanel by Ami Sioux.

I did venture to some new concept stores in Paris, Merci on blvd Beaumarchais and MOna MAarket on rue Commines. Merci is very spacious with 3 floors selling everything from fashion to furniture. There are also 3 cafés.

MOna MArket was my favorite.  A smaller more intimate shop with a edgy natural look.  Much of the interior was black but then softened with natural fiber furnishings and clothing.

For the children in your life there is BONTON (the kid store of French fame A.P.C.).  The BONTON kids concept store has a beautiful selection of clothing, furniture, a hair salon for hair cuts and colour and the best section for all you need to throw the best kids birthday party in Paris!
